Inspiring Community Health Nurses in Brikama

Fatou

Fatou, a young woman from the rural village of Brikama, is one of the community health nurses whose training was sponsored by our project. She shares that the scholarship has “reduced a great financial burden” on herself and on her family.

“[I want to] use this opportunity to ensure that the knowledge and skills gained during the training will be put to good use for the communities we are to serve.” 

Momodou

Momodou is another inspiring nurse whose training was supported by SolHealth. “The sponsorship came at the right time and to the right people,” he says with a smile.

 “I am very happy to be a part of this initiative that has closed the gap that my family could not afford. I thank the project for the sponsorship and the doors it has opened for me.”
